The Characteristic of a living language is that it keeps developing and progressing with the passage of time. Because of continuous changes and additions, a language keeps on enriching its vocabulary. Urdu being an ever-growing language, assimilates within it various internationally prevalent words and current terminologies. Terms and expressions are so well integrated in Urdu that they do not look unfamiliar at all. It is in the backdrop that a need was felt to compile a dictionary which could cater to the needs requirements of present times.

This being the need of the hour, a humble effort has been made, keeping the latest global trends of dictionary preparations in mind, to bring out an English to English, Hindi and Urdu dictionary.

At the same time, every possible care is taken to include in it maximum possible words of common, day-to-day usage.

Usually, all well-known and reputed dictionaries have been compiled alphabetically. But a unique feature of this dictionary is that, alongside the alphabetical order, it brings into focus all the possible derivatives, related idioms and combinations of a given word at the same place. This arrangement makes it convenient for a person to instantly view a word in all its varied forms and usages without any difficulty. For instance “Time” has been dealt with comprehensively in all its possible aspects at the same place where it occurs in the dictionary.
