This book is an anthology of some selected research papers which were written in last one decade. Most of them were delivered in international and national forums and getting published for the first time and few of them are already published and are re-published . These articles are mainly on four themes, reproductive health of women in Uttarakhand Himalayas, tribes of Uttrakhand analysis of folk religion and anthropology of food- and food-ways. The underlining theme of all the papers is women. In mountain setting a subject lease researched and neglected.
